Our one car is up for sale, would it be in bad taste to advertise in a carfree forum? Probably eh? :) I plan to use the non-loan money to buy a HID light (commute home will be about 15 miles @ 00:00 hours on dark roads), some rain gear, a flex car account, a bus pass, and whatever other goodies I deem necessary and can afford. You all can pat yourselves on the back for taking another car off the road, probably would not have even thought it possible if I hadn't stumbled accross these forums. Fate perhaps. Thanks!

Just sold my car last week. G/f has offered me too many rides since then :). Although she has a car, I though I would feel naked without one. Instead, it feels great.
I rode in the dark all last winter. It's a lot of fun on most roads / paths. If you have lots of turns, consider a headlight. That is what I prefer. A 20 watt Jet light will give you a nice wide angle, and doubles as a great mtb light if you want one. HID is the best for mostly straight roads. Good luck. Should be fun.
