Well, the car is packed and we're ready to leave for the Midwest Tandem Rally in Cedar Rapids. Due to my wife's job, we haven't been to one since 1992 in Des Moines, but this year she retired, so off we go!

We won't make it to MTR this year; but did attend the one in '92 with Des Moines singing mayor . . . who also rode tandem and had cops (in cycling gear) ride 'shotgun' for us tandemistas.
Our first MTR (#1) was in Kokomo, IN in 1975. With about 30 tandems, who ever thought it get to be this popular!
