Anyone have any seat reccomendations? My stock seat hurts. Bad. I don't care if I have a lame looking seat as long as it doesn't hurt me lol.

Different saddles for different butts. You're best bet is heading over to a good local shop and trying out some stuff. Some of the Specialized dealers have an "ass-o-meter" which can pair you up with a fitting Specialized saddle.

How long have you been riding. If you are still relatively new all seats are going to hurt you. You have to spend a few days riding to get your butt used to the whole thing.

My stock saddle on my c'dale is a Fizik Nizene, and i really like it.

However, the junky saddle on my kona build really hurts the ass, i hate it, but ive been too lazy to buy a new one, plus it doesnt get ridden half as much as my c'dale

You're riding with shorts that have a chamois, right? Pretty much all stock seats these days on decent bikes are built around the premise that you have a chamois that will provide extra padding.

Where as I agree with the sentiments above, I was just on a Fiz'ik, I can't remember which one (I want to Aerone but not 100% sure because I've never considered it a mountain bike saddle), with my typical riding gear. I have to say that my butt was hurting for sometime after (and a full suspension bike). I then went to my Sella Italia pro-link on my hard tail and all was good again. That's my second Sella Italia and I'm liking them alot.

I've also wanted to try a WTB as they have great reps for a MTB saddle.

I've got an Azonic Loveseat. Pretty comfy.

I've also had three different WTB saddles. Also all comfy.

My favorite was my Salsa saddle. Plus, I bought it on closeout for $15.00, so that had something to do with it! Wish I would've bought two more.

I like the BG saddle that came stock on my specialized. I dont like the WTB Speed V i have on my commuter though.

I bought a pair of shorts 2 weeks ago with a chamois. I dont know how i ever rode without them!

Very happy with the stock WTB that came on my Kona Blast. Can't complain at all.

My Bontrager Race seat is super plush.

I also like my Bont. Race. I've also had good luck with Specialized's seats, but WTB's don't seem to fit me well. Everyones' butt is different, so as people have already said, you'll probably need to try a few out before you find one that you like.

the best, as far as comfort, Ive ever ridden was a WTB SST. it was hard as a brick, had no "cutout" but it fit me like a glove. I miss that seat. I rode it until I wore through the leather completely , then covered it with duct tape for a while until the rail broke.
