I am currently looking at getting back into mountain biking. I found a couple of bikes on ebay and in the local stores. The bike I'm currently checking out is the 2004 Gary Fisher Sugar. It does have full suspension, but component are Manitou Black Comp. in front and Fox in back. Seems like a good deal for a price, but does anybody else have any input? Thanks!!

I have been riding a Sugar 3 (2001) for 5 years...I have upgraded components quite a bit (no much of he original stuff left)...I love this bike! I have ridden others including Santa Cruz Blur and Superlight, but find I am most comfortable on the Sugar. I single pivot Genesis geometry is excellent and simple. Looks like good components, just make sure it is the correct size.

Have fun....
