Hey guys. I am new here and I noticed you all are concerned with safety as much as I am. This thread got me thinking how we don't have that many options for summer/warm weather safety clothes.

Would you guys be interested in having a shirt made up as I do shirt printing. I have come up with this design but if you have any suggestions please let me know. It is printed on a safety green colored T-shirt with flourecent orange ink. The symbol would be printed on the back of the shirt and I also have the option of using gold glimmering ink, or silver glimmering ink.

I didn't want to print any words on the shirt as that will distract cagers. This seems like a simple yet effective design that will make sure motorists see all of us out there.

For increased contrast, I'd recommend a black border around the symbol. Something like below. Also, iron on some 3M Scotchlite iron-on reflective tape, or maybe sew some reflective tape onto it.

What material is the shirt made of? I prefer 100% cotton. But some of the newer dri wear seems okay.

Yeah, pockets on the back would be very useful. I'd really prefer a hoodie as opposed to a t-shirt, so much more of my dim-lit riding is done during the cooler weather.

Does for me! Most of the "breathable fabrics I have tried make me itch. I much prefer the natural fibers...might just be me. But I can tell right away when I put a t-shirt on, if it is less than about 80% cotton:p I can also tell the difference between merino wool socks and regular wool pretty quick too;)

Print those on all poly alertshirts, and if you can find reflective ink, I'm there. Unfortunately the reflective inks probably will stop all airflow.
If they're even 1% cotton, count me out. I wear 100% cotton at home, but never on the bike.

Your idea for using fluorescent ink will only work if the ink is retroreflective as well. The fluorescence will get you seen during the day but do diddly squat at night. I know there is retroreflective ink available on the market but I think it's expensive and you'd probably have to get a large quantity.
