Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - Dura Ace hubs - crazy price?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Hmmm.. is it me or the dura ace 7600 Hub pair at worldclasscycles.com is only 152$ (the 7710 low flange = 185$) ???
look in the hubs (pair) section
http://www.worldclasscycles.com/Track_components2.htm
I need to buy some good hubs for my Pogliaghi conversion (80s road frame).
Any recommendations?

I think the part your missing is the "SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY" in large blue letters. Meaning, not in stock. But yes, seems cheap.

This guy is known for having great prices. If he has them, that'll be the price. I talked to him once and he was a nice guy too.
you can get them in japan for 125 a pair. biz cycles, or worldclass has them for 200 on sale right now..

you are going to put DA hubs on a pog conversion? Where is Juvi to set you right.

nan. I'd like used campy if possible, but, after riding the pogliaghi I noticed that the frame is stupidly tight (foot touching front wheel when turning, seriously, never seen a bike geometry that tight, front and back) so I don't know whats going to happen with it.
The good thing is that I bought it for a good price and has a complete Exage 500ex group, so it should be pretty easy to resell.
not all DA 36h high flanges are NJS certified, if that makes any difference

I know.. no one will bite. They will just sit around till the right person comes along. These things are getting scarcer and scarcer. They are great, solid hubs taht i ride myself. Pretty soon i am just going to build them up and sell them as a wheelset on craigslist or something.

THAT THING SHOULD DEF NOT BE CONVERTED AND IF YOU DO IT NEEDS TO BE SET UP AS AN OLD TRAINER. 44 X 17 WITH TWO BRAKES AND DEF USE CAMPY.

nan, sorry. I'll be a mix of campy, miche and cinelli. I'd like to keep it as italian as possible but while keeping the cost down.
btw, its not an original pogliaghi. Its an 80s "souless" one made out of columbus Aelle.
Dang, I just lost serious scene points.

A hodge podge of old italian parts is the way to go!
i.e.
Campy deraileurs
miche hubs
Mondial cranks
modolo brakes
...MA2's (ok)
Build it as if you were transported back into the 80's and not as an over-restored piece!
