I live in San Francisco. I see a fair amount of fixed riders around here. I've never ridden a fixed gear, so I'm just curious how the hell they manage that in a hilly city like SF?
Is it difficult?
I must admit that some of the nicest and cleanest bikes I see are fixed gears. Their simplistic design is so appealing.
