No...it's pretty universal. I'm sure that you can find it over there in Oz, but I've heard that the American made version is far superior.

WOO HOO! Sunday MTB ride!
Sorry to bail on everyone, but... One of my dogs, (I have beagles), is really sick she has inflammation/blockage/growth around or in her intestines. Monday the vet thought it was lymphoma but the results came back negative on that. That was the only good news I've heard all week. So friday she is going to have surgery to see what's going on inside her.
Well I'm really bummed I can't make it this weekend. I've been looking forward to it for weeks.
I'm going to just spend the weekend at home with the pups... I may get out to a hockey game Saturday night!
Have fun and ride safe out there!!!!
BTW: she's the one on the left of the picture!

I'm so sorry about your poor puppy (I know, she's a dog... but they are all puppies to me!) I hope they are able to figure out what is causing the problem.

I think maybe 3 sites for Friday night (5-6 cars):
1. extort/m.e.
2. fixer
3. chimivee
4. Tiff/Brandy/PBryant1
5. jsigone
6. bitingduck (?)
And 2 sites for Saturday night (1-4 cars):
1. extort
2. chimivee (maybe)
3. jsigone (maybe)
4. Tiff/Brandy/PBranyt1 (not actually spending night)
Sheesh, that took a long time to figure out.
OK...slight change on my part. I decided to sleep in my vehicle instead of erecting my tiny solo tent. I'll still be occupying one campsite parking space though....
Depending on how Friday morning goes for me work-wise, I can leave as early as 10am. But on the other hand I might leave as late as 2pm. I'm shooting for before noon departure to beat traffic heading out of LA. I like to get to JT as early as possile so I can settle down, enjoy some hot beverages, take a nap, and be ready for the evening. :)

I keep waffling on whether to go, but it's a really nice time of year to go to JT, so save a spot for me-- I have a tent and car, and will be coming out after work (and facing the traffic out of LA...ick).
So is there anything I should bring food/supportwise?

Liquids plus bananas for the ride? I could also bring pasta or garlic bread, but I'll be arriving on the relatively late side and you all may be thinking dessert at that point.

I'm bringing two lanterns and a 2-burner stove...
I am stopping tonight to buy a lantern... I am also bringing sticks for the brauts and hotdogs so that they can be roasted over the campfire.
The brauts were cooked last night, they just need to be reheated by the fire to be tasty.

Just a suggestion:
Instead of having our post ride lunch at a restaurant, perhaps with all the left over camp food we'll most likely end up with, why not have lunch at a park or back at the campsite?...whatever....:)
