Well, got a call from the LBS today...I had stopped in 2 weeks ago inquiring about a Giant TCR carbon. He finally heard back from his Giant rep...

earliest delivery period..............JUNE! LOL

I'm not sure if this is mostly due to his shop not being a huge Giant dealer...or if the supply is that low. RAcycles in Brooklyn claims they have them in stock on their site...but I haven't called to actually see if thats true...

so looks like I'll be going with the Trek 110 frame instead, haha.
doing a project one this weekend hopefully...wooohooo
:D

I can't wait till it gets warm!!!!!!!!! anyone in Northern NJ?

Why not go on the Giant website, find another Giant dealer, call them, see if it's in stock, purchase on the phone with a credit card, and have them ship it to you? Why wait if that's the bike you want? ;)

Have been looking at both of the same bikes and ridden both although Giant was a med and too small. Although I liked both a lot and they exceed my abilities I chose to break pops rule and buy a new somewhat untested product....Kuota Khsano carbon. The bike just looked too dang slick....guess I must be one of those "posers" huh. I'll give you my road test info when I get mine in 1-2 weeks. Go to Kuota.com for a peek, or if ride is no good look to ebay shortly...

Giant bikes cannot be shipped according to the company policies.

Also Giant does tend to treat some dealers bad. Locally my buddy after being aGiant delaer since he opened and before Giant was big he was very loyal to the, This last year they pretty much treated him like &%^ and dumped him. No loyalty.

Due to this I will never ride a Giant and sold mine I got from him years back.

Thanks for the replies...I never actually rode a TCR carbon, so I guess it was a shot in the dark anyway

...But I did ride the 110 Trek frame and loved it...should be on the way soon :D

I was thinking about buying a carbon Giant last month and was told the same thing. Was'nt willing to wait that long and got a Trek 5200 in a week.

Have you considered a Calfee carbon frame? They might be a bit more expensive but they are works of art! Just got mine (Tetra-Custom) and will be buiding it up soon.
