Whats the deal? Do we have to buy the rest of the episodes for Drop In. Looks like they put up all 13 episodes but only let you download half. The only way to watch the rest is to buy the series DvD. I might just do that since they were kind enough to let us view the first 7. I have no problem with buying it, but does anyone know if they will be letting us download anymore of episodes 8 through 13?

Wow I didnt know there was 13 episodes....are you sure there is? I thought there was only 7 and then extra footage on the DVD's. If there is 13 we can just wait till somebody puts it on kazaa.

Just looked at the site, I guess there is 13.....cant wait to download them.

Way to support the industry! Yah just get it on Kazaa and then in a year or two the companies that make those videos that you download will be no more and you wont have anymore videos to download. It's all works in a circle man.
I'm not apposed to downloading stuff... especially from the evil corperations HMMMM some start with M hmmm computer stuff... ha ha.. Anyways, man don't rip off the little companies! At the very least buy some of their stuff. The more we support our lifestyle of mountain biking and all it's counter parts, videos, parts, shops..what not, the longer and better the sport/life will be for all of us!

Ok here is the scoop...

1- There are 13 episodes plus extra footage (more hours than any other combination of movies)
2 - they are not releasing anymore on wmv format and you can only get the rest through their site for 56$ on DVD. Well worth it since they are coming out with a new season which will probably kick more ass than the last one. (My biggest thing that I don't like about this is the next episode has the Darrent Butler crash...,  :p which I really wanted to see...oh well I am buying it :)
3 - bikeColorado - Drop-in is a TV series released in Canada that showed on SportsNET. Featured essentially 3 types of riders travelling through the rockies riding all different terrain. You have trials/street riders, bmx/street, dh and huckers (I guess that is 4). Very interesting to see everyones different approach to riding difficult terrain. www.dropin.pinkbike.com for more info on the series. Too much chatting for some as you REALLY get to know the riders and how they think, live and ride.

Cheers

Looks like all of their download links are now broken. I'd like to see the episodes. Does anybody have a copy? I have an ftp server I can put them on to share them with the rest of the forum if I can get a copy. -Steve

I received it last Friday. I've watched through episode 10 so far. This is GREAT stuff. I like MTB videos, but get tired of scene after scene of sicko stuff - it get's old. This format is great - the guys are funny too.

I was just watching New World Disorder III at my desk...on my lunch...

The magnitude of the drops, jumps are similar - but it I felt that Drop-In REALLY engages you much more, because you kinda get to know all the riders, their humor, personalities, etc. - and the music on Drop-In is much better. It flows through several different styles, whereas all the other sicko videos just keep pumping out this screaming, head banging stuff that gets old song, after song, after song.

I just watched the Drop-In episode from Whistler...nice riding terrain man!

My favorite aspect is how there are many different styles. To watch a huckedr dropin and then see how the trials guy drops in is awesome. One goes at it with speed the other does a 360 nose stall....very cool..

And yeah...the terrain here is cool. One one trail you can find slate, deadwood, moss, manmade, mud and tabletops. It is aweomse how versatile everything is here. :)
