That picture of the track racer in the background...that's me! I stumbled by the site from a track racing gossip site I visit sometimes.

The veloplex site is run by the most famous track builder in the world, Peter Junek, as well as Ralph Schuermann and Jack Simes. I think my friend Jack Simes had something to do with that picture getting up there...but hey, that site is part of the best in the world!

I was thinking on traveling to one World Cup qualifiers this year, other than at my home track, but I don't think it is going to materialize. Ft. Lauderdale was one I was looking at, but that event is 5 days, so I know that won't be happening. :(

That's cool. If your face was visible, courtesy would pretty much require that he ask your permission.
