Hey Everyone, Have Yall Seen The New Rockshox Dart Models? I Was Looking To Get A Judy 3 For My Harov1 But These Look Better, Well Al Least Better Than The Manitou Axel Super I Was Going To Get. What Do Yall Think?
i think dart replaced the j line. they probably twitched it up a little and yep they do look better. i think performance will be like judy

well, it looks like the judy is FINALLY dead after quite possibly the longest run in the suspension market. long live the judy.
but the dart is the judy.

i know yall are tried of the begginer stuff, but im still there. College ties up most of my money, im just i guess new and exicted about my new hobby, something me and the g/f can do 2gether. anyways i just wanted some input on if yall thought it would be bad to get a new fork just put on the market? Maybe to work out the bugs?

Its really not an all new fork. Basically the same specs as my '06 J3, just a new name, different colors etc. I think they might have tweaked somethings, but you shouldnt worry about bugs.

i thought they would be about the same. but wasnt sure. also i saw somewhere the they dont have bosses for my v brake on a review site, then i saw on another review site that they do have the bosses.
i hate being mislead, i think im going to call sram/rockshox and see if they are included.

They most likely make both! They make a bossless design and a bossed one.

I rode a '06 and '07 Rockhopper, the '06 had the Judy and the '07 had the Dart. I could tell absolutely no difference between the two either physically, or how they rode. YMMV :)

I'd only worry about that if the fork was completely new but the Judy is a well proven design and the Dart is based heavily on the Judy.
