I have the opportunity to aquire one of these cruiser bikes for $25.00-It is a ladies version and everthing seems original, however it is in a very bad state of disrepair. My question is this(and yes i know it is subjective)- Is it worth alot of time and effort to get this bike back to original??

It's an AMF Roadmaster - $25.00 should mean that it's in good rideable shape. I've yet to see anything of that line that's worth restoring.

I got one of these from the LBS garbage and I've been riding it to classes and leaving it unlocked outside. No one's bothered stealing it yet, if that tells you anything.

That's a shame it looked like a fun project-but not if its good money after bad.
Thanks for the replies

I sold one that was almost mint a few months ago for $50. I once bought an AMF Nimble for $2 all it needed was new tires and tubes. I'd love to have another one, but I'll agree $25 for one which needs serious work is way too much.
