Pacific Northwest - I've done it now, whoo boy!

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

So I went to the South America section and I see these folks in a land dispute :fight: and I think "Hey, there is some good stuff here."
So I claimed all of the Andes and Rainforests for the PacNW. Familiar territory I figure, so the ease of taking it should be good, with moderate backup. ;)

MD is running out of crabs actually, Bay pollution has killed the seafood production big time:( .

I just got us the Grand Canyon and renamed it the Southern Gorge.
Salutations from the Antipodes, oh evil one!
Now that you have claimed all our interesting features for the PNW, could you please send us some rain? We could do with it down under.:D

So, does this mean we can give parts of the Pacific NW away in trade? Thinking . . . Lynnwood for Mendocino . . . Kauai for Kent . . .
:)

No. We need them for base, there is power in magnatude.
I think that in order to "claim" a territory you have to physically be there and show proof. I could "claim" New England, but if I've never been there what's the point. I think that there should be a picture of you standing next to a sign or a landmark in order to stake a claim.

What a concept, eh? They're near most train stations in Japan.

Are there any pictures with you in them? We need verification if we're going to hand over two countries to you. :)

Good question. I don't think train travel is cheap (it wasn't as a tourist, even with a Japan Rail Pass), but it's cheaper than owning a car, and it's quick and efficient.

I hear ya, but i would rather bike ride than be stuck with a bunch of people on a train.

True, but often train commutes are over much longer distances that one might want to ride, especially on the Japanese bikes. They look pretty uncomfortable, heavy, and not made for long distance rides. They're very utilitarian, quite unlike most of the bikes I see around here.

Had no clue they have crappy bikes, i guess driving a golf cart will be the "cool" thing to do over there.
