pulled the trigger on the Edge 305 bundle last night, it will be here on Monday.
www.geomangear.com (Geo.Man on BikeForums).
Superb service so far, he called me at 9AM (I ordered at 2AM) to answer my shipping question, and I got overnight shipping for about 15 bucks. Total price was ~$280
I just bought one from him last week. Quick delivery and a great price. Cant wait to use mine this weekend, along with my new Easton wheels.:D

It was seeing your purchase (Road Forums) that made me decide that he must be pretty decent.

He definately has a good reputation. The price is right. I remember before christmas he has another bundle deal but it was more and I didnt really need all that extra stuff. Its a nice unit, and I was suprised at how easy it is to set up, since I get confused easily. I actually found it easier then a bike computer like my Cateye Astrale.

I was in the local Performance shop this morning and saw a bunch of HRM on a table for 60% off the reduced price. Long-short I paid $31 for a brand new Polar S150 (factory refurbished but full warranty)
http://www.polarusa.com/Products/Consumer/S150.asp
Lists for $139 but sells around $80 usually!

I have that unit. Works fine as a HR monitor, but the speed indicator always seems to go in and out. Thats part of the reason I wanted the Garmin, one wireless unit and does all. However I will still use the Polar on mt bike rides.

I just rode 15 miles with it and the HRM worked fine. Since I have a hard wired Cateye Astrale for Cadence/Speed I didn't bother with the Polar speed sensor.
WHAT REALLY BUGS ME IS: the clear plastic cover over the display becomes almost invisible in the sun as it distorts and reflects like crazy.,,,,is there a fix for this>?

I havent run into that problem. Guess I just rotate the watch a bit. I imagine that may be a problem on any hadle bar device with the sun at the right angle. Most of my rides are shaded by big tree's so its not as evident here. I know its much more open there.

good score on the 06, usually the only thing that changes between them are colors and decals. how many gears you got on there?
Nice rig there!!

Glad you like your bike. :)

like a freaking rocket, and nigh effortless to ride. I'm not sure what the gearing is on that beast but the allez is like butta. I took it on a good 20 miler this morning and it was a dream. I can't wait to take it up a mountain. It descends like crazy. I don't have a computer on it but I am positive I went faster than I ever have descending the big hill near my house today. scared this old lady walking her dog pretty good.
