it's only painful for the first month or so then you sorta just get used to it LOL Then it's just plain adictive after that. The questions pops into your head "can I climb this faster then before" or "when will I see the top so my legs can stop hurting" or my new one "damn my legs feel good but can my back and arms get me up this damn hill"

I love the texture of the fabric and the cut. FYI, the sizes run large.

I have two of those lights and they are wonderful. I strap the battery next to my downtube water bottle cage and there is plenty of cable to reach the handlebars.

pffff. You need to dial it up to 400 watts if you expect to see anything.

No. I needed to Ebay some stuff to pay for a gruppo but as of today I'll have enough for SRAM Rival. Once I charge the crankset it's done. Hopefully by next weekend I'll be riding.

I bought the light off Nashbar for $86 (including shipping) and according to the Nashbar website it's labeled as the 10 watt version, but it's really the 15 watt version (a sticker on the box confirms this). As for the battery cable, it's approximately 23" long.

I've used it a couple times on my early morning rec. rides and I like the light a lot. It throws enough light for me to see on pitch black roads...though I would like more light on these roads (who wouldn't) there is enough of it that I can ride comfortably.

Great thanks...I think I will have to get me one of these!
thanks again!
A couple months ago I purchased a Cateye Micro wireless speedo.
A couple folks asked for me to report how it did, as their
speedo's did not work to satisfaction.
Not a single glitch. Every time I look at it, it seems to be operating correctly,
always on, with what appears to be accurate readings.
complete satisfaction!
Now if it can only make me ride faster and linger....

A 2000 Santa Cruz superlight. It's a medium. I'm 6'. :( I don't think I'm going to be able to fake the size difference, but I'll try for a while, and then, maybe, back to craigslist/ebay it goes.

A cheap (and waterproof) alternative is a fishing license holder. Mine was 79-cents. Looks like this, except no text and clip comes right off. Thin is in.

Yeah! My trainer should've been delivered by now. Can't wait to get off work and try it out. Leg workout on trainer + upper body with a Wii. :D
Pretty sad though now that the weather is so nice outside. I guess I'll be using it during weekday nights after work.

I get mine from the drug paraphenalia store around the corner. They have an amazing selection. My personal favorite is the 4"x4" square.
