Mountain Biking - new fork makes bike ridiculous, in the weird way

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

i just got bought ($200) and installed an 05 SID Team--got it from a friend who took it off his new top fuel when he got it--cane creek headset and stem on my *cough* trusty 99 GT Outpost. i had a judy on it for 5 years til it died last week. anyway, i just felt that i needed to announce to everyone here the irony that my fork is now literally worth more than twice the rest of the bike combined. when i track down my camera i'll add pics, but for now, flame away

i really should replace this bike but she takes a beating and keeps riding so sentimentality prevails...

Pheard, where did your post go? You were complaining this thread had no point, just like someone complained about yours once?

Anyway to the OP.. don't worry, I am still riding a '98 cannondale.
