Ok,
So everyone on this board has been great so far.
My situation
--------------
26 year old male
Australian (lived here all my life), DutchMother but cannot get European Passport as I was born 1980 and apparently you had to be registered before 1986 or something like that (unless Dad is European but he is Australian)
finished school at 18
University from 18 to 25
Completed Science degree, with major in Computer Science and Psychology
Completed Law degree from great University
Lots of different jobs to support myself through University including:
modelling
hospitality
graphic designer
martial art instructor
tutor
law firm
etc.
worked full time at one of the world's largest mining companies for 6 month contract.
Turned down graduate position for position on Oil and Gas Project.
Worked 12 months on Oil and Gas Project but massive delays have changed everything. I took the job to work on site for direct site experience (contract management) for 3-5 years. Site work is not expected for some time.
There is a shortage of Engineers here and I am doing Engineer style work which I loathe. It does not come naturally and I struggle.
I want a career change however am not sure what to do.
I love law and reading but hate the sleaziness and artificiality of some law.
I love presenting and speaking in front of groups. I like drafting and creativity.
I really want to live overseas for a while for the experience. Preferences are open, as long as I had a fulfilling job. A new environment would be great.
I would love to live somewhere and learn another language.
I like balanced lifestyles and stimulating environments which accelerate my growth!
any ideas? From what I have said, please make some suggestions!
:) :)
thank you
