Hi, I'm new to the forum. I'm getting into biking more and more lately. I'm now cycling from my home to the train station, taking the train, and then biking to work. Really enjoying that. Just have a 10 yr old Trek 800 MTB, but just ordered a 64cm 2006 Windor Tourist touring bike www.http://www.bikesdirect.com/products/windsor/tourist.htm . My son worked recently for Rivendell, and can't see pumping that much money into a bike, so he felt this was a good affordable bike in my size (I'm 6-2). Went recently on a S24O (Sub 24 hour overnight) bike camping trip and really had a good time. This was up Mt. Diablo here in the SF area. That got me hooked I guess.
Now I'm ready to get mroe serious about biking!
I'm also considering getting a basic tandem bike for my wife and I to putter around on. I'm 6-2 and she's
5-4, so want somehting that will fit us both.
