i am about to get sun rhyno lite wehhls with xt disc hubs. I am getting the disc brakes in about 2 weeks so can I put the rhyno lites on my bike and use them with v brakes?

I got mine from an online place... nashbar I think. Paid $129.00 for them.

A question on hubs here. I got Specialized stout II on the front and shimano 475 on the rear. Disc versions. Are they good? how much do they weight? I was thinking of getting XT disc hubs ...is this a considerable upgrade?
