Hello all,
I am Jim and reside in the Jacksonville, FL area. I am new to road cycling and very excited to be here since I have really strived to further my physical conditioning over the past year and feel that this will be another avenue to meet new people and enjoy a new sport and challenges.
I am being past a 1974 Raleigh Professional that was ridden approximately 300 miles and then placed on hangers in the garage where it has stayed for the better part of the past 30 years. The bike is still in pristine condition and only needs to be cleaned up, greases changed out, and new rubber and then I will attempt to accomplish the quests that my father set out to do. As I said before this will be a challenge as I have had difficulty finding information for this particular model, and would like to keep it as close to its original form as possible so I joined this thread to enjoy the success stories of other riders and to hopefully lean on those with experience in my times of needed information.
