Did you pick up that one that had a BIN of 250$USD on the weekend? I thought somebody here did but I cannot recall exactly who. I've heard good things about them, mostly that they are good tooling-around bikes, like a GTB or Bianchi Pista. Y'know, workhorses.

hey carleton q hall.... suk me... ive been buying bikes since before you knew what a wheel was.. and i know a lugged steel track frame and fork for $100 bucks is a deal no matter what becuase if i dont like how it rides on the street or on the track.. i can sell it to a loser like you for way more then its worth..

im asking for people who actually know something about bikes to give me an in depth opinion on this one so i have a better idea of what to expect/build it for..i.e... should i expect this to be my track ride.. or the bike i leave at my parents to ride when im in new york...or bike i stick on ebay without wasting my time builiding... like im wasting my time explaining this to you....roaarrr

Ummm..#1 that's not what you originally asked. You asked a noob question (and you know it, no matter what you really meant in your heart of hearts).

2) GIGO

3) "ive been buying bikes since before you knew what a wheel was.. and i know a lugged steel track frame and fork for $100 bucks is a deal no matter what becuase if i dont like how it rides on the street or on the track.. i can sell it to a loser like you for way more then its worth.."

Burn!

You showed me.

4) According to your every bike you've ever owned lists.... (http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=222992) thread I've owned more bikes than you...even if I let you count: your tricycle that got run over by a car and your pista concept that's on its way (which I've had 3 of)

I just got an '80s kilo on ebay, the guy thinks it's an '84. they were (I don't think they're made anymore at least) gitane's entry level track bike, so my guess is that the frame is roughly equivalent to any major company's entry level steel track bike: schwinn madison, pista, etc.
