$35!
They look comfy, but at that price I see why you would want testimonials from others before taking the plunge.

More expensive than tape, but less than the brooks stuff... depending on durability (which I've heard complaints about for their MTB grips) it could be a deal, especially for those who like keirin grips, but have a bike with brakes.

I've tried them. They were good in feeling and alright in look (but kinda like you had pool noodles on your bars), but they weren't anything special compared to what is already out there. I personally feel that if you want pad around your whole bar, then just tape it with a double layer of cork or something. With gloves on it feels just as good.
Good thing about these grips however is that they will last through the end of the world. They can be beat the **** out of and still be intact at the end of the day. I say most practical for your workhorse.

In reply to an email I sent, I have learned that you can get these in non-stock lengths. ie if you run bullhorns brakeless and want one continuous grip for the whole thing, you can do it with these. Good to know...

what re the longest grips you can get besides these? do they still make the ones you see on old ten speeds that are rubber and have all the holes in them?
that comment about pool noodles just made me snort beer up my nose.
thanks for that.
