Someone told me I should be wearing stiff-soled sandals on my bent.

My BB is slightly below seat level, but part of the pedal cycle is above the seat. I get numb feet after around 40-50 min.. It sucks because I like to ride longer than that without stopping. But the cramps in my feet get too bad that I have to stop. This never happened on an upwrong bike.

I've started using a set of Sole Softec Footbeds + leaving my shoes very loose. Loose enough that I can leave the straps done and easily slip them on and off. This has helped my numb foot problem immensely.

The last time I had foot issues, my seat-to-pedal distance was too short. You could try increasing your distance by 1/4 or 1/2 inch, just to see.

I tried everything and was still in pain by mile 35. I got a pair of those horribly expensive (44 bucks!) specialized cycling shoe inserts and they fit like a glove - not a SECOND of hotfoot since. On the HHH I rode 60 miles before my first stop - that was 2hr 45 min of constant pedalling with no pain!
