does the newmark crit usually bring a out alot of racers? im in michigan and thinking about coming out for it. looks like fun for a cat 4, as i can do to races.

The cat 4/5 race will probably be huge if the weather is nice. There are so many cat 4's and 5's in the area. We had over 40 guys in a cat 4 only race a few weeks ago...

Are you over 45? That's the only way you can do two races as a "4". Last year they had a 30+ race that I did and a 3/4 race that I did. Separate cat 5 race. This year there's not even a cat 1 race...?

The course is awesome. My favorite crit of the year. There are two 90 degree turns and only one is sort of tight. The pavement is wide and there is a great finishing straight.
