This came in the mail today:

I want to go ride it, but I'm sooo tired. I was nearly falling asleep while putting it together. I didn't sleep enough last night. I think I need a nap before I can go ride.

nice! they don't come stock with the blue accents, do they? and yes, sleep. no sense running into anything because you're tired.

Hey, very nice. I really like the blue accents (same thing on my roadie, and my soon to be fixie).. what brand/model tires are those?

Hey, I just woke up. :)
No, it doesn't come with the blue accents, the stock one looks like this:

But I asked for it with drop bars and 23mm tires, and since they were being replaced anyway, I wanted it with blue. :) The tires are something cheap. They say "cheng shin tire" on the side. Some Chinese company, but they look alright.

Maybe I'm un-hip, but I sorta lament the fact that you removed the fenders. They're useful, ya know... and they look pretty nice, I think.

Anyway, BIG ups for having that moustache abomination swapped from the get go. Bar setup and tape looks great.

where did you order it from? I've been looking for somewhere who would ship the redlines...

I live in California. It doesn't rain here from about April until about November. I kept them, I can put them back on when the rainy season starts. Until then they're not doing me any good anyway.

Redline doesn't allow internet sales. I got it from a bike shop in Oregon that doesn't do online sales, however I did some work for the manager of the shop, and so he shipped me the bike as payment.
