Bicycle Mechanics - Schwalbe Big Apples
Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Anyone use these before? Are they any good? How good are they for everyday commuting?
Are they good against bumps and thuds? Sharp objects? Puncture resistant?
What are some good and sturdy rims to go with it?

They're super high quality, very resistant to spiky objects on the road. Crappy roads mean nothing to them; you can go off the curb or right into potholes with no concern. The only problem with them is that it might be hard to find a frame that will clear their width.
i hear that they look for smaller bikes to chew and eat...
i read that they have suspension built into them
cool huh? keep a rigid fork, but still have an extra level of suspension, still have low rolling efficieny
