Hi guys,
this is my first post, and I hope I'm posting in the right place.
I'm looking to buy a trainer for the coming winter, and I'm not sure how they attach to the bike - this could be a problem because of my disc brakes. I was just wondering if there are any compatible trainers out there, or if anyone's running a bike with discs on their trainer. If anyone has any particular models that are compatible, please post them.

Trainers attach using adjustable cups that fit around the rear wheel quick release. The bike is basically held by the quick release/rear triangle. Disc brakes should have no impact on this.

However, some trainers apply resistance to the rear wheel through a wheel designed to contact the rim on the brake tracks. If you have disc brake specific rims, this typ may not work for you (best to ask the manufacturer) Most trainers simply have a roller that contacts the tire and this will work with no problem. You will, of course, want a rear slick tire in such a case.
