I haven't been there since the first time I lived in Chicago (Bloomingdale actually). If they have team caps...let me know....I might like one.

There are at least 2 people from work who will be riding the 3rd leg, and I'll be talking to MrEWorm tomorrow about riding the third leg as well.

If I remember correctly he mentioned that he might want to just drive SAG if needed. I'll double check that and let everyone know.

I think my wife and son are going to be waiting for us at the end. Should be good times.

Yee-haw! I did an easy 30 this morning and I am ready for tomorrow. I got snacks, clean socks and a little tribute for the knave (hopefully Hip will apply it to my OCP points). Barring disaster, I look forward to meeting everyone at the ride.

Just cracked a 30 miler trying to make sure my lame brained last minute saddle move wasn't going to cost me tomorrow. Everything looks good.

Yeah. I dig surprises. No riding for me today. Since I have tomorrow free to hang out with my BF Buddies I am on baby duty (ha i said duty) today. Just got back from the park and now its nap time. :D

Have fun tomorrow, everyone. :) The SoCal BikeForums group will empathize with you in your climbing. Our century tomorrow starts with a 1200 foot climb at mile 2. While we warm up on that climb, we'll think of you guys.

Just wanted to wish everyone a good ride. I'm feeling a little under the weather so I'm sadly not going to be able to make it. However, I really enjoyed riding with everyone over the summer. Until next time!

I'm not going to be able to make it. Despite my feeling better, my middle daughter has gotten really sick. You don't want to know the details, but sufice it to say that I will be on nursing duty again all day tomorrow.

I have been thinking of getting one of those Tacx i-magic virtual trainers, just to try and get some real miles in this fall and winter. I figure it is my only shot of being able to keep up with you guys early in the season.

Well unlike these other wet blankets (;) j/k) my friend and I are both in for the metric. I will bring along all of my tools in case someone needs a major repair of some sort. What is the status of the possibility for post-ride festivities?

Is the parking lot easy to find? Some of these Forest Preserves are HUGE. I guess it should not be too hard. Just look for the Lycra Convention!! See you all in the morning. Later.

There is really only one parking lot. Technically this thing doesn't open until 8, but we'll see if we can get in a little before. This preserve is pretty tiny.

I ran into Drag today while I was at Pearl Izumi. He came up and said, "Excuse me, are you Psimet?" Total shock! He was asking about what was going on afterwards. I am all for hanging out for a bit afterwards with anyone who wants to stay. My family is coming out so I'll be in no hurry to leave. I say S_Dog and Drag decide what's going on. ;)

Well, after all the showers and mini-thunderstorms that popped through the area on Saturday, it looks like today is going to be warm and sunny (keeping fingers crossed).

I almost went down to the PI outlet yesterday. If I had known there was a secret insider meeting going on there, I'd have been there for sure.

If Drag is going to sport the Ernie/Bert jersey, I'll have to throw on the Oscar socks, per the avatar. I'll be easy to spot that way.

I didn't make it out for even a short ride today. Up all night with my daughter and than today she broke out in a nasty rash all over her entire torso and back. I hate when kids get sick, it scares the crap out of me. :mad:

I'm off to the basement to ride the exercise bike while I watch Da Bears!

Waiting for some ride reports!!! What a fricken awesome day to have a ride. I will take credit for choosing 10-1 on the date poll instead of last week. Too bad I could not make it. I did manage to get out for a 30 miler about 11:30 today and could not help thinking how much fun you guys must be having.
