While i was out of town, my Dahon Speed P8 developed on the rear tire.
The leak was on the rim side and was caused by a burr or a piece of
metal flake on the spoke hole.
This bothers me for 2 reasons, first the manufacture of the rim did not
bother to de-burr the drilled hole and second, that the rim liner was
of poor quality, insufficient size and poor installation. the rim liner was
a cheap plastic liner that did NOT cover the spoke holes properly.
The fix was easy, I simply removed the old liner, de-burred the holes
and installed a duck-tape derrived rim liner.
It's really not a huge problem but I pisses me off that something so simple
was neglected on this bike.
