Hi. I was wondering does anybodey use a trainer with his bent, or knows wether I can use a standard
upright bikes kind trainer with a bent ? I know the wheel sizes are different, but I don't know
whether the trainers are adjustable.
And while I'm at it, same question about rollers.
Thanks.

Sure, as long as the bent has a 26" or 700c rear wheel, it will work just fine. A 20" rear wheel may not work in all trainers.

Many trainer companies sell an adapter block to use with recumbents, or any wheel smaller than about 24 inches. The block goes on the frame of the trainer, then the spinny part bolts to the block.

I just got a hunk of some 2 inch, square tube iron (Like the kind that goes in a trailer hitch) drilled some holes in it, and used some long bolts to put it between the frame and my 20 inch wheel.

It worked fine, but i found trainers to be rather boring. Maybe I'll try rollers and get some crash practice!

I have a 26" rear wheel (Sun EZ Sport CX) and my CycleOps works just fine.

I use my Kurt Kinetic Road Machine (http://www.kurtkinetic.com/roadmachine.php?osCsid=6c4ca968615f509b9) with my recumbent trikes as well as my handcycle. There is also a small wheel adapter (http://www.kurtkinetic.com/accessories_all.php) for the the this trainer.

See pictures of my training room (http://dse-trikes.blogspot.com/2006/04/training-room.html)
