ahaha. That totally reminds me of a class I had freshman year. The final exam consisted of a series of essay questions that were to be answered and emailed to the prof by midnight. Well, nine pm rolled around, and I had procrastinated in doing the final. As a little motivational "boost", I pounded three shots of tequila, went to the computer lab and did it. It was the easiest test I ever took. :D

I've got a B.S. degree in CS & SE. That in itself is enough to have geek blood! :p

No its not...not if you got them because you thought it was a good degree and didn't really care about the material. I got BS and MS in Comp. Eng. and know many people (undergrad and grad) who memorized what they needed to know to pass, but graduated truly not knowing squat. No geek blood there dude!

Sounds like me! I'm currently studying Software Eng. but there's no way in heck I'm gonna do this crap for the rest of my life! Sorry to all you computer people out there...:p I'm gonna switch to biology or something so I don't have to take any more math courses!

Yet Another Math Wimp? ;) :p
Yeah, I am a math wimp...here's the situation. My first semester last year I had Calc 1 at 8:00am. My professor was a new guy, his first year teaching. He sounded like a robot when he talked, so monotous, so boring, especially at 8:00am. He wrote on the board and talked way too fast, his hand writing sucked, and when you asked him to explain something, he made you even more confused. Needless to say, I failed the class miserably. I retook it the next semester. My professor was a female teachers assistant and she did a LOT better job of explaining the content than the other guy did. I passed and got an AB in the class.
Now I'm taking Calc 2 this semester. The only time I could fit the class in my schedule was at 8:00am again. And guess who's teaching the class...Mr. Boringrobotcantexplaincrapforcrap. I think I'll have a better chance of understanding the class if I DON'T go to class. He sucks that bad. I'm so pissed off! ARGH! I'm a pirate! Caffeine rocks my world!
My advisor once told me that my schedule was too difficult with math in it. I told her that the math was the easy part, all the writing courses would take up too much of my time. She looked confused.
I do have an interest in the material, and the industry. Some of the classes can just get a bit dry at times (Advanced Algorithms being the main one which really makes me snore). Currently working on my Master's in CS - believe me, if I didn't want to stick around for a while, I wouldn't be spending 2 more years in classes.

I am taking Statistics online with no lectures included. You read the book and do the work..

Rum + Tequila + Homework = ??
I dunno. When I was in college, I never entered the homework factor. I can tell you what Rum + Tequila = though. And I also know what Rum + Tequila - Homework = as well.
Just brought home a botttle of Texas made Titos vodka that I first had the night before Hotter'N Hell Hundred in Wichita Falls. I find it a smoother vodka than my Belvedere or Gray Goose.
