Hello to the C & V thread. New to this forum.
Just bought an older Colnago International. Appears to be an early 80's model, featured in the catalogue along with the Super, Mexico, Giro de Italia and the likes. All the decals match the catalogue photo's and the International decal is still intact on the top tube.
What I am interested in is the group set. It is all Ofmega, with Ernesto Colnago signature on all the parts. Some lettering, like on the shifters, rear hub, and pedals have been rubbed off or disappeared. But otherwise all the signatures are ledgible and distinguished.
I've done an extensive search on this gruppo and have drawn a blank. I'd appreciate any information on this setup. Should I contact Colnago about this gruppo?
