I've been hoping, no, not even daring to hope...and it happened!
Yesterday, while commuting to work on my bike on a deserted stretch of road (I know that's hard to believe, "deserted," but this whole story is eerie,) I was abducted by aliens. Ya, 'strue!
They examined my bike (darn! I thought they were going to check me out) and chattered on and on in some strange language (for those of you who thought aliens were "telepathic")
and took my baby completely apart. I fell into a deep sleep (I was sort of bored by this part) until I awoke suddenly, finding myself lying on the grass next to my bike.
When I got to work, no one believed me about this incident.
Chalk up another "crazy bike commuter" story!
(On the way home, I noticed a really small guy on a bike exactly like mine, sort of wobbling along, giggling...)
