What's up everyone? I am from the Eddie Fiola, Agent Orange, GT World Tour, RAD (movie), Freestylin Magazine days.
Freestyling was my life. I road everyday, every hour, and read and thought about it when not.
After riding for five years all of my friends moved away or got chicks and didn't ride anymore. I stuck it out alone for two more then finally music took over.
I never stopped loving bmx but just repressed it. Then BAMMMM ESPN came out with show after show and I couldn't take it. It killed me to watch and even worse to feel like an outsider.
Shortly after I still played music and made a living at it while riding during the day. I had to ride with the young dudes of the hood and my friends thought I was a freak...whatever.
Once again I have put my love on hold and now am ready to get back. I'm running out of years, but as long as DMC and Hoffman still ride , this gives me hope. I have photos of them both from the early 80s. Hoffman was a little kid with a perm and still kicked the hell out of the ramp.
