For Texas weather, what is the best way to get ready for winter riding?

(Futile attempt at random humor here...)

You wear your blaze orange vest to avoid hunters instead of wearing your blaze orange vest to avoid cars!

Sorry...Didn't notice the Canada part of your profile ;) Actually, it depends on what part of Texas you are in. West Texas (the area, not the town) can get well below freezing at the same south Texas will be nice for swimming in the lakes. This link has some information that will be useful. http://web2.airmail.net/danb1/climate.htm If you go to any of the weather websites, they will give a fair prediction for the next several days...but remember, if you don't like the weather in Texas, wait a few minutes...it'll change. ;)
