Hi all! Over the summer I had the opportunity to polish and adjust some of the bikes that I've squirreled away over the past several years. I've discovered that the screws on the Alenax bikes transbars are quite fragile. Does anyone know of a parts source for these bikes (either new or used)? I need some screws and at least one transbar. Thanks.

Kangaroo cranks! I saw one on Ebay, contact the seller...he may know.

Those cranks....soooo crazy. How do they ride? Probably fun for short flats, huh?

Cranky Old Dude,
Crazy! I have never seen one of these before.
Can you post a bigger picture of the crank section?

Cranky Old Dude,
Thanks for that link. I do think I remember them but I never got to see one up close. If you want to sell it the guy on that website says "I wish I had bought one, because it would be so collectible."

You may be able to get a good $ for it.

Thanks for the info,

J B

A Charity near me, has one of these for around $100, frame looks great, but one of the lever arms has a little thin metal strip that is missing a screw of some kind..

I bought an alenax at Trexlertown swapmeet last week and it came without the screws that hold the little silver piece that prevents the chain slipping off the transbar onto the transbar. Does anyone have any information about those (size, thread count, etc..?)
