R&B Bicycle Club is announcing their annual Tour de Julian.

This year it is being held out of Menghini Winery with on site camping available.

Saturday Nov 11th we will be offering 2 road rides of 28 and 55 miles in distance with incredible scenery and lots of climbing. These are not beginner rides.

Sunday Nov 12th we will be offering our MTB rides in the newly opened Santa Ysable open space preserve. This is one of the most scenic areas in the whole county. Rides range in distance from 11 to 19 miles.

Julian, is your date locked in stone? or could it be moved to Sunday the 26th? everyone will want to try to work off the feast from the day before and we could run our Apple Pie ride... (because we will be sick of pumpkin pie!)

We could guarantee many participants from this forum on the 26th because we have been discussing it for a while and everyone loved the photos from out last ride down there.

DANG! the only consolation is that we will be down there a couple of weeks later. We will have to schedule this one for next year...

Sorry about the schedule conflicts!
We were going to make it the weekend of the 4th and 5th but it would interfere with the Julian HS 5K and 10K running race.
We don't want to go much later because of weather concerns etc.

Right now we are planning the dates for our Borrego Century. We are thinking of Saturday January 28th. Any thoughts on that???

saturday the 27th.... (28th is sunday! don't do it on a sunday! ACK!) doesn't look like it conflicts with anything.... is 2 weeks before tour de palm springs... so good and 2 weeks after stagecoach!!

one "good" thing... you should have good weather if i'm not sheduled to be there! lol! (but in all fairness... the last two R&B rides i;ve been to have been MOST EXCELLENT weather!)

uhm.... can you mail me some bread and pie in november?????????????

Errr,

I did mean Saturday the 27th of January. Funny I just kept turning the calendar to January but upon closer inspection it was 2006. Oooops.

Mailing pies is tough. You have to jump up and down on it to get it to fit in the envelope.

Have fun in Joshua tree.
