I thought would introduce myself. I live near Portland Oregon and ride several times a week - on and off road. Currently, I ride an old Cannondale superV700 - not too happy with it, but I get my excersise.

In my spare time, I also make Phoenix (Mozilla) and K-meleon web browser themes - which are available following my sig and at Deskmod (http://www.deskmod.com/core.mod?show=showcat&cat_name=phoenix)

welcome to the Forums!

i lived in Portland from June '97 to July '00...

i miss many a trail in the Portland Area... Dog River Trail, Suisan Creek, 3 Corner Rock, Brown's Camp (Tillamook), all the Hood River trails too

as well as rides during the week in Forest Park

and road rides up Skyline...

and commuting in Portland is just the best!

so are you really by the Oreon Trail? it ends in SE Portland, right? out near the Springwater Corridor?

Actually I just moved to Camas Washington which is right across the river from Portland. I have great trails within a mile of my house!

This trail allows about 28mph downhill leading to this bridge

Welcome lynchknot from a fellow northwesterner. Great pictures. Looks like lacamas lake. Good place to ride in town.

Thanks bertt - yes, you are correct. It is part of my (almost) daily 12 mile loop. :p

I try to make it out there a couple times a week. Just not on the weekends.

Do you know about the downhill trails that start on top of Prune Hill across from the lake?

If you see an orange Cannondale super V at Lacamas Lake - that's me!

I can't say I know the trails you are talking about. I usally ride over by the bridge you have a picture of on tuesday & thursday morning's. But i will keep a eye out for you. I ride a yellow Giant NRS1 like my avatar.

The downhill trails are in the hills above the club house/campground/boat docks. I n fact it ends across the street from the boat launch area.

I usually cross that bridge (I enter via the bridge parking lot) riding counter-clock wise (more excercise riding uphill) between 1-3pm and exit through the main parking lot.
