Hi Folks,

I was wondering if anyone out there has tried the commuter bag from http://www.twowheelgear.com/. It looks pretty perfect to me, but I was wondering if anyone can provide a testimonial. Specifically, I'm looking for the perfect commuter bag solution: something I can carry my clothes, lunch, toiletries, and laptop to the office in. I have a traditional pannier right now (http://www.mec.ca/Products/product_detail.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524442617969&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374302693397&bmUID=1158340150556) but I have to roll my clothes, I'm worried about putting my laptop in it, and it's a pain to carry from my bike inside the office.

Anyone's $0.02 would be appreciated.

I have one of the old Performance suit bag panniers, and I loved it. I'd be using it now if I cold stuff my laptop into it. If the TWG pag has enough room for your laptop, then make sure you can get enough heel clearance and give it a whirl. And then post your results.

I'm curious about "water resistant". If I'm going to put nice clothes,or especially a laptop,in this thing,they better stay dry.

I'm curious about "water resistant". If I'm going to put nice clothes,or especially a laptop,in this thing,they better stay dry.

I called 2WG and the person I spoke to told me that the fabric is water resistant, but the zippers/closures are not water proof.

I think in a torrential downpour, I'd use a drycleaning bag for my clothes and something similar for my laptop.
