Hey -

Does anyone know why George Hincapie isn't on the US World Road Championship Team (see the list here - http://www.usacycling.org/news/user/story.php?id=2549?

You'd think he would be since he is the U.S. champion and is a great one-day rider. Did he not want to participate?

apart from the year where he had the virus early in the season (2004?) GH hasn't done the worlds for years. too late in the year.

Too late in the year for what? He's obviously on good form right now and would be a contender, more so than any of the other riders we're sending. Obviously it is his choice, just seems strange to me.
