Sneezing nose and watery eyes

I got sneezing nose and watery eyes when the temperature drops and/or cold wind blows. It can be very dangerous sometimes. Has anyone got the same problem? if so, how do you deal with it?

Nasal spray and keep the wind out of the eyes. In really cold air I use a balaclava to warm the breath as well.http://only-mamis.de/images/smilies/rotz.gif

Which balaclava do you use? Are those airpollution masks any good?

How do you keep winds out the eyes? I wear prescriptions, so that's a pain...

I've no idea how well it works. Like you, I wear glasses, so it's been a pain trying to find something that will keep my eyes from watering, that also doesn't interfere with vision. At only $10, I consider this visor to be a worthwhile experiment!

It's normal to experience that sort of thing as the temperatures get a little cooler.

Just wait till it gets really cold ... then everything freezes and you can just snap off all the "drips". Quickly and easily dealt with!! :lol:

I use a prescrip wrap semi wrap around glasses. When speed exceeds 20 mph my eyes used to water real bad. The semi wrap arounds work well. Semi wrap around because hard to get prescrips in a fully sport type wrap around shades. I wear Raybans.

I've been using a Louis Garneau visor for about a month. I like it a great deal, it's been good protection against the wind. It's very clear, and I have actually forgotten I've been wearing it at times.

I also wear prescription glasses, and I will say, depending on your frames and your helmet you might have some issues with the visor hitting your frames. I've noticed some scratching where the corners of my glasses have hit the visor-- but they don't interfere with vision at all. And I don't feel as if my glasses are being mashed against my face.

Keep an eye on the velcro on your helmet-- I've noticed that it pulls up a bit. I'm thinking that contact cement might be the way to go if I have problems.

Pay attention to your symptoms, because you can damage your sinuses in weather below freezing.
I have learned the hard way to know when to come in from the cold.
A sinus infection can be hard to conquer, lead to other complications, and make you a real stinkhead.
