apparently, iTunes sucks.
I just downloaded Itunes 7 and lost ALL but 87 songs. Thats over 300 CD's lost.
Uninstalled itunes 7, reinstalled itunes 6, no it wont work at all.
I'm basically F***ed.
ANyone have an answer?

ACK! iTunes has it's own folder for storing your music. Check to see if it's in your \My Music\iTunes\iTunes Music folder?

There is some music ther, but it is just a shell of it's former self.
I'm SO bummed. It took me weeks to enter all these CD's into the computer.
Itunes wont play at all now..

There are also freeware utilities that allow you to copy songs from your iPod to iTunes, so you might be able to recover what's currently on your iPod that way...

Tried uninstalling and re-installing. Nada ( 3 times ).
Now Itunes wont even come on. Says " missing file."
Pretty well sucks.. as does itunes i guess...
On the plus side, all my music is on CD's, iI don't buy downloads just for this reason. After ahving hard drives crash I learned.
I guess I can use another player. I just won't be able to ever see anything using Quick time again!
