If you claim you listen to the Miles Davis version you might even be able to convince people you are sophisticated. I have to stress the might part of that.

On a related note, I finally caved and installed iTunes. Is everything the same price there? I noticed songs from the 1950's were all the same 99-cents as brand new releases. This seems crazy. Do they have any kind of "bargain bin"?

Dont think about the 'age' of the music, think about the 'quality' of the music. I personally think the opposite to you. How can you sell a Miles Davis track for 99c right next to a britany spears track for the same value....tsk tsk tsk ;)

Well, I think of it this way: I generally frown upon illegal downloading, but if it is a song I've purchased on record, 8-track, 12 (subsequently melted) cassettes, and 3 (lost, stolen, scratched) CDs... well, then I don't feel so bad grabbing a copy of that song/album on Limewire. But really, I would probably even repurchase those, if say, they had a bargain rate of like 10 doo-wop classics for a buck.
