Lake tahoe tri this weekend was 24 at the start(6200ft) and then the bike went up to the summit (7200ft) over into truckee, which was a chilly down hill and then back over the summit. By the time the 10k leg started it was up to a tropical 42 degrees. At least heat exhaustion wasn't a problem :rolleyes:

I did the Kenetic Sprint down here on April 22nd of 05. I woke up and it was a balmy 37 degrees with over cast. By the time the run was over it was 42 degrees... Weather like that just sucks.

I thought you were talking about Celsius at first... My thought was, 'sounds pleasant' until the '42 degrees' bit. :)
