Eastern Canada - Canada version of Performance Bike

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Is there a similar cycling chain store like Performance Bike in US?

Thanks

There is something similar to REI, namely MEC (www.mec.ca). But nothing similar to Nashbar or Performance that I know of.

Don't forget bikeroom.com (although some people have had bad experiences with them but I am not one of them).

There is one in Montreal on rue St Denis - Trek dealers. They also had quite a good selection of other high end bikes. I went there last month for Bontrager tires.

This has to be the most expensive store in Toronto. Went to their summer 'big sale' and most of the stuff was reduced to slightly more than all the other shops are selling for.
And it's not like their service is spectacular enough to compensate.

Which? Cycle Therapy or Velotique?

sorry to take so long: Cycle Therapy is grossly over priced. Velotique are pretty decent people.

The Performance Bike on St. Denis is a great store, but it's not related to the Online store that's being referred to in this thread. I've bought stuff from both.
