Advocacy & Safety - Who is going to, has or would like to take a LAB course?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Who here in the forums has, is going to or would take an LAB course if it was offered in your area?

You may vote in more then one. This is for those that have already taken a course & have yet to take more, etc.

Please explain, if you wish, your reasons why, etc.

Simplified; I’m going to take a LAB course as a way to demonstrate “professional” training in bike safety. There are just too many people promoting things that they think are safe for cyclists without looking at any facts or studies. (For example; I had a discussion the other day with a cyclist who strongly felt that wrong way riding was the safest.)

I have taken both Road 1 and Road 2. Felt like I could have very easily taught the Road 1 class. Road 2 was a bit more relaxed and offered a bit more mechanical information... I found it very useful.

I have taken Road 1 and the LCI Certification class. I am looking forward to taking Road 2 so that I can increase my knowledge even further.

Both my wife and I took Road 1 this summer. The parts we found most useful were those dealing with riding in traffic.

I would like to take both Road 2 and LCI Certification classes in the future.
