Looks like a good deal to me at Nashbar right now. Does anyone have any experience with this stand? How does it compare to the Park PCS-9 or Minoura Consumer(MN-300) or RS-5000 stands?

I'll be using it for home wrenching on a road bike and a couple of mountian bikes. Compactness is a plus, since I live in an apartment. It doesn't have to be super-firm, but I also don't like the bike to wobble all over the place when I'm trying to work on it.

I searched the forums, but couldn't find any comments on this workstand or the MN-300. Thanks for your advice!

Not really a good deal, that's pretty much their price all year round.

A few weeks ago they had a Minoura stand, the RX something something, for $30. It was gone in a day. :(

Hmm, thanks for the info. Glad I didn't get caught with that trick!

Disregarding pricing, does anyone have any experience with the stands I've mentioned that haven't been discussed on bikeforums yet? (Nashbar, Minoura MN-300)

Found a review for the MN-300 at MTBR if anyone is interested (which you must be, since few seem to have experience with this stand :) ) -- http://www.mtbr.com/reviews/Tools/product_23433.shtml

Has anyone bought the Nashbar stand?

Thanks!
