I have Regina CX/CX-S Freewheel 14-21. I bought a park fr-4 to remove/install it and it doesn't quite fit. Is there a better tool for this?
Phil Wood used to make a splined FW removal tool that fit the Regina splined body perfectly. I've got a couple but I can't share - one is a little tighter than the other, these fit a couple of other splined freewheels as well - I can't remember which one. You might try ebay, or check with Phil Wood company directly.
Does the CX take the same spline as the Regina America? My local bike shop actually sold me a spare Regina tool for $5; it doesn't hurt to ask at an older, well-established shop.
