Have an old pair of 80's MA2's laced 4X to Miche low flange hubs - 36*

I'm getting a rattling buzz from the front and some creaking from the rear.

I've check that the tension is relatively even.

In back, when hammering, there is this noise from the rear wheel. sounds like if I grabbed a pair of crossing spokes and rubbed them together

In front, over rougher ground, there is this buzzing rattle that sounds like there are beads inside the handle bar. The headset is tight, none of the components are shaking loose, just this tinny buzz. Any ideas folks?

Clean your rims. Then examine each spoke hole very carefully. What you're looking for is hairline cracks radiating from the spoke holes.
